I will try here to summarize the content of Semir Osmanagic’s book (bs) "The Bosnian pyramid of the Sun - Discovery of the first European pyramids" (a partial translation in English is now available on the Foundation website (en)).
Introduction
"12,500 years ago a large part of the European continent was under deep layers of ice. Areas of Southern Europe from France through Spain, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia, Turkey and Caucasian areas have grown rapidly with human cultures.
Developed societies of the Pacific, Atlantic and Mediterranean have left a strong outline on the architecture, social organization and spiritual life of people in Southern Europe . Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the Adriatic rim has been important as a potent energy source for them.
Ranging a few hundred kilometres from river Sava to the Adriatic Sea, Bosnia and Herzegovina was considered one of the most outstanding areas in Europe at that time. Several millennium inaugurals of Illyrian and Basque-Caucasian people left behind genius facilities in the form of pyramids, monolithic towns formed in stone and complex energy harvesting systems.
12,000 years ago a universal cataclysm, which resulted in the ice melting in most of Europe , caused a few hundred-meter rise in the sea level. Civilizations were under the sea. Soon after, the water retreated and during the centuries that followed soil and maquis covered the pyramids.
Now we have a rare opportunity to lay a hand on the remnants of our ancestors. We can foresee a mosaic using several accessible pictures. A mosaic that makes Bosnia and Herzegovina an archaeological treasure."
Chapter one: genetic anthropology changes our familiar view of the world
Content: "The DNA revolution"; "The map of the migrations"; "Confirmation of the hypothesis about the Illyrians"; "My haplogroup".
Having no knowledge whatsoever about genetics, I have understood very little in this chapter; here is however the few I could grasp from the author’s reasoning. The starting point is the Genographic (en) project aiming at a world map of DNA. This project is supposed to give a map of humanity’s migrations since 60,000 years, and shows that the Basque and Illyrians are the most ancient inhabitants of Europe. According to the author, the Croats and part of the today Bosnians have the same "haplotype" as these ancient Illyrians, totally from the one, younger, of the Slavs; and these Illyrians have left important archaeological traces. From this point, by a leap in the reasoning that I confess I don’t quite understand, the author deduces that this "high civilization" could not have developped by itself, and that it had to come from somewhere, "probably from Atlantis".
Mr. Osmanagic goes on, mentioning a "mysterious haplogroup" that is to be found only in part of Europe, in Near East and in Brasil, from what he logically deduces that this haplogroup belongs to the descendants of the Atlanteans. Mayas, for their part, have a unique mitochondrial group (with a link with Lemuria? the author asks this question) ; same thing in Equator.
Here I will skip a few parts, containing a - in my opinion - not very comprehensible discussion about the links between the brilliant Atlantidean civilization and the Illyrians, Egyptians, Greeks..., mixed with ranting about the blindness of archaeologists. We come now to the human migrations map: Mr. Osmanagic shows in this book a map from 2002 which, he says, is one of the few "uncensored" maps, as the maps published later by National Geographic have been voluntarily modified to stick to the "official truth". This uncensored map from 2002 confirms, of course, the author’s theories on two points: a peopling of Peru and Equator by way of the Pacific ocean and Eastern Island, which confirms the existence of Mu and Lemuria; the presence of a haplogroup "X" in Europe, Near East and North and South America, the geometrical center of this population being the Atlantic ocean, therefore Atlantis.
The following part is devoted, by way of diverse genetic explanations, to the links between present Bosnia and Illyrians or pre-Illyrians: we are taught that 42 % of the present population in Bosnia and Herzegovina are directly descended from the paleolithic populations settled in the Balkans 25,000 years ago, as well as 38 % of the Slovens and Croats. At this moment, the author evidently strays from his favourite topic (Atlantis): his aim is here to stress the fact that the Slavs do not constitute the most part of the balkanic population. Mr. Osmanagic closes this chapter with his personal genetic study, and says that his own ancestors settled in the Balkans more than 10000 years ago.
Chapter 2: The "stone spheres" phenomenon
Content: "The megalithic enigmas of Costa Rica"; "A worldwide energetic network?"; "The localization of the Bosnian stone spheres".
Note: the phenomenon of the "stone spheres" is discussed in another article of this website.
Mr. Osmanagic first mentions in this chapter the perfect granodiorite spheres of Costa Rica. He explains: that we ignore how they were made; that they are at least 1,200 to 3,200 years old; and that they were set to form triangles or parallelograms, with often an orientation toward the celestial North. He then endorses the thesis of people like George Erikson, Ivan Zapp and Doug Yurchay about the "atlantean" origin of these spheres, and about their use as elements of a "wordwide system for the distribution of electricity"; as well as the thesis of the "astronomer" Edwin Quesada (en): some of these spheres were used as astronomical maps, with an instance where is supposedly represented Andromeda galaxy - that implies of course that the makers of the stone had advanced optical tools... The author concludes that the "official" explanation of these spheres (precolombian artifacts made between 800 and 1500 AC) is impossible, and that they are some thousands years old.
The second part of the chapter mentions the link between Costa Rica spheres and other spheres, this time in Mexico: a new opportunity for Mr. Osmanagic to find fault with the blind official science which tries (with no success according to the author) to make of these mexican spheres the product of volcanism. He stresses the existence of other spheres, equally mysterious, in Honduras, South Africa and Tunisia where his friend Bojan has photographed them, as well as in front of Hagia Sophia in Istambul (he says by the way of this last sphere that the only way to make a stone sphere "so abolutely perfect" is to work in an absence of gravity???). So that it is indeed a matter of a worldwide network of stones, set with a "mathematical precision" by ancient civilizations.
In 2004 Mr. Osmanagic discovered, again with the help of his friend Bojan Zecevic, the existence of stone spheres in Bosnia, and he formed a "research team" with Ahmed Bosnic and Jovo Jovanovic. "The evidence is beginning to grow about this sophisticated Cro-Magnon who, by the way of these stone spheres, has linked this region to the wordwide energetic wireless network, at a time when these lands were under the influence of the world superpower, Atlantis". Then comes the list of places in Bosnia where stone spheres were discovered; some are said to be made of "magmatic material". We can also have a glimpse of a stone "monolith", which could be "the top of a small astronomical/energical temple"? [1]
To make it short, there are in Bosnia thousands of stone spheres, most still buried, which are made by the hand - but whose hand? asks Mr. Osmanagic, is it really Man’s hand? ("Rijec je o fenomenu nastalom radom inteligentnih (ljudskih?) ruku")
Chapter 3: Biogeometry
Biogeometry is the "science" which studies the resonance and "energy of the shapes": "in nature, every object has its own shape and its own energy; biogeometry studies the links between shapes and energetical fields". Throughout the history, two shapes have an "important influence on the human energetical field: pyramid and hemisphere". According to French radiesthesists (Chaumery and De Belizal), these two shapes emit energy, "green negative vibrations" (sic), et their researches have proved that these "green vibrations" allow Man "to approach higher spiritual kingdoms". That is why pyramids are found everywhere, and why synagogues, churches and mosques have domes [2]. Another specialist in biogeometry, Dr Ibrahim Karim from Cairo, has shown that there are three fundamental qualities of vibrations: "green negative", "ultraviolet harmonious" and "golden harmonious" (re-sic), and the most important component of "spiritual energetical fields" is the "green negative". Pyramids and half-spheres produce this energy along the central axis. The ultraviolet component has a relaxing effect on the nervous system; the golden component stimulates the immune system, and brings wisdom and prosperity. The Ancients knew all of this, that’s why they used pyramid and sphere (which is, after all, a double half-sphere).
Chapter 4: The Bosnian pyramid of the Sun
Content: "Visocica"; "The experiment of El Salvador"; "Ground probing campaign on Visocica".
In the beginning, Mr. Osmanagic relates how his attention was drawn by the hill of Visocica, and how he was immediately convinced that it was a matter of at least one pyramid (see this article for the details). From this moment he begins to carry out the necessary steps to obtain authorizations for geological probes, and to find a company able to make them. But, in the meantime, something tells him that he has to go back in America, in Salvador.
In that country, the author visited 5 archeaological sites where excavations or reconstructions were being done, and he learned much from them, he says, for the future project "pyramid of the Sun". First stop in Joya de Ceren, the "New World Pompei", a maya city buried by an eruption and discovered in 1976; the second stop was for the "archaeological park" of San Andres, where pyramids are being "reconstructed" or restored; then the city of Cihuatan, of El Tazuml (again reconstructed pyramids), and last the city of Casa Blanca. This trip has probably not added a lot to the author’s knowledge about pyramids, but evidently much influenced his project, from the way of excavating a totally buried pyramid, to the idea of an "archaeological park" and of reconstructing pyramids.
Then it is the return in Bosnia: Mr. Osmanagic obtains the authorizations for the geological probes, under the control of Visoko Museum, which is in a sense the guarantee that the scientific process will be respected. Upon his arrival in Visoko, Mr. Osmanagic obtains a "geodetic map" which confirms, according to him, his intuitions: pyramidal shape, "steps" on three sides, orientation toward the cardinal directions... (I’ll leave the reader to make his own mind about what the below document exactly confirms).

Then comes a very long part about the making of the six probe holes in August 2005, with numerous photographs that only show the author’s fascination for the drilling machine and the soil samples it delivers. Then are described the results of these geological probes (a more detailed text is here) and their analysis by "a local geologist with good knowledge of the region and 25 years of experience in deep probes" (this geologist is Ms Nukic, later become a member of the Fondation). The author describes the "anomalies" observed, with numerous pictures of the samples. Among these pictures, a "polished brown stone, used to decorate an underground room of the pyramid":

A few samples from these probes have been shown to some people (a sedimentologist in Bosnia, a scientist from Sarajevo Museum, a specialist in sedimentary geology at Houston University); it seems that they did not notice anything remarkable. According to the author, the "polished stone" used to "decorate an underground room" is to be further analyzed.
Then the author asks the fundamental question: "Why a pyramid, and not a natural creation?" He immediately answers, stressing that nature do not produce hills "with perfect shape", so that it must be men from a far past who built this pyramid, "maybe on a natural base". Second question: "who, when, and using what technology?" Answer : same answer that for Silbury Hill, Peru and Baalbek, and the author explains that the answer has already been given in his other books, meaning it is the "Atlantean" answer. Follow details about the construction of the pyramid (a step pyramid, covered with blocks of polished sandstone; on the top platform was, as on most pyramids in Central and South America, a wooden temple...). Another important question: was this pyramid used for human sacrifices, as in the case of the Aztec pyramids? Answer: the author "has the impression" that it was not. He also "has the impression" that the builders did not use it for a long time: not surprising, as they were from Atlantis, which disappeared in a famous cataclysm 12,000 ago...
And the author closes the chapter with a copy of the letter (with no mention of Atlantis!) he sent after this first research to Mr. Hodovic, director of Visoko Museum, letter in which he asks that a five year research project be approved, and stresses the fact that the positive effects will be so important that they will guarantee to the Museum, to the town of Visoko, and to the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina a wonderful future.
Chapter 5: The Adriatic Basin, jewel of the world archaeology
This last chapter begins with the author trying to link the ruins of the Gradine Osanica site (the hellenistic city of Daorson, that another "alternative" author (en) wanted to identify as the remains of Troy) with a much more ancient time (end of the glacial era), and to make it an element of the Atlantean presence in Europe and of their energetical network. His main argument is the shape of the walls, made of blocks of various shape and size, "typical of prehistoric constructions from the civilizations of Lemuria and Atlantis".
It is the same thing for the Illyrian site of Asseria (Benkovac) where, according to him, the walls that have not been "modifies" by the restoring of the site bear the mark of a more ancient architecture; as well as for the Illyrian site of Varvaria (Bribirska Glavica). In all these cases, Mr. Osmanagic stresses the shape of the stones and of the walls, for instance:

Appendixes
There are two appendixes at the end of Mr. Osmanagic’s book.
The first one is by Jovo Jovanovic, and its subject is the "iron rings" that are supposed to be found everywhere in Bosnia; Mr. Jovanovic lists all the places where "he heard someone say" there were rings, where "there was, some years ago, a ring" but there isn’t anymore... He thinks that these rings were used to attach boats, at a time when the sea level was much higher than today, that is at the time of the biblical Flood (for what, as he says, "almost everyone agrees today that it was not only a legend"), or at least at the time of one of the floods, as Mr. Jovanovic thinks that it is "surely exact" that there were several floods (and of course one of these floods took place 12,000 years ago, when happened the downfall of Atlantis). Of course, this implies that official science is lying about the date of the invention of metal...
The second appendix is written by Bojan Zecevic, and evokes Medun, an Illyrian settlement near Podgorica in Montenegro, and more precisely two walls of the little Medun Museum, which are according to him "much more older" than the rest of the site, with a construction technique (blocks of various size, but so neatly adjusted that one could not "slip a razor blade" between them) that reminds him of Daorson as well as Machu Picchu.
