An interesting anecdote about the hotel Piramida Sunca in Visoko and its landlord, Dario Pekic: both of whom owe a great deal to Semir Osmanagic and his Foundation - of which Mr. Pekic is, besides, a member. The hotel is not only named after Osmanagic's project (Pyramid of the Sun Hotel), but also derives substantial benefits from it: volunteers for the Summer Camps are required to stay there (see page 6), and various seminars devoted to the "pyramids" are also held there.
In spite of (…)

I have received this report from Visoko, and I'm waiting to hear more from the Foundation about these new artefacts - Irna
Aug 2014
Report by I. Masinik
This season, Osmanagic's team have discovered a number of exciting artefacts in and around the Visoko area.
This amazingly preserved artefact was discovered near a road leading to the Pyramid of the sun. Analysis from a Tusla lab indicates that the artefact is entirely man made. A spokesman from the Pyramid Foundation stated (…)

Tenement buildings were pock marked with bullet holes and crudely repaired craters from mortar blasts, testimony to the savage war that raged here not two decades ago. Yes, there had been repairs and new buildings had gone up –all windows and glass– but Sarajevo was still recovering from the wounds of its recent past and reminders of the war were abundant.
As my taxi took me to the outskirts of the town, I could not help noticing a huge graveyard which seemed to (…)

A reader has drawn my attention to this document, written by Professor Paolo Debertolis on 11th June 2014, whose purpose is that of a “formal response to attacks” on his research group (the SB Research Group). This document, which contains some untruths, requires a few clarifications on my part.
In this case we are speaking about Irna's web site which claims to tell readers the truth about Bosnian Pyramids.
I do not know where Professor Debertolis saw any claim that I have set out to (…)

After his first expedition to the Bosnian “pyramids” in the summer of 2013, Mr. Dominique Jongbloed, a French self-proclaimed "Explorer" or "Adventurer", is now planning a second expedition to take place in April 2014. Meanwhile, the association he chairs, NordSud Institute [North-South Institute], offers help with transport arrangements and room reservations to future volunteers wishing to participate in activities at the site. The association also organizes voyages of discovery to the (…)

As part of an investigation into the Bosnian "pyramids", I was recently interviewed by a site that would probably fall into the "alternative" category. Following apparent pressure or intimidation, the site chose to remove the entire contents of the investigative file. However, I am exercising my prerogative as the owner and administrator of copyright in my own comments to reproduce here, on my website, my replies to the various questions put to me.
Q: Hello, and thank you for agreeing (…)

Relations with Semir Osmanagic having recently reached somewhat of a nadir, Professor Debertolis is now finding himself rather marginalized over the Bosnian "pyramids" affair. So, accompanied by the SBRG, Debertolis is now forging ahead with his "archaeo-acoustics" research, his purpose apparently being to prove that various "sacred" sites across Europe are linked by the generation of ultrasound or infrasound at certain frequencies that might possibly have some "spiritual" effect or (…)

For several years now, during which not even the smallest piece of conclusive archaeological evidence has come to light, Mr. Osmanagic's Bosnian Pyramid Foundation has been trying to demonstrate the existence of gigantic pyramids at Visoko by using arguments from disciplines other than archeology. With this purpose in mind, the Foundation has been regularly taking several different sorts of readings, such as electromagnetic radiation, auras, and various "energy" fields, in the Ravne tunnels (…)
